              A Farewell Function was arranged for the students of std. X-2024 by the students of std IX.  with great ferver and enthusiasm in SDDNV & Jr.  college under the egis of Nagpur Shikshan Mandal.

              At the very outset,  the portraits

of goddess Saraswati and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj were garlanded at the hands of the chief guest smt. Anju Jais along with Mrs. M.Yawalkar madam. the principal S.D.D.N.V & jr college, Mrs. K Balki, R.Kuwar Highschool Incharge . In her introductory address, Mrs. K. Balki dewelt upon the loyalists to Shivaji maharaj and multifaceted personality of Shivaji Maharaj , she also introduced the chief guest and expressed the significance of farewell function in the lives of the students of std X.

                   Along with farewell function, to mark the occation of 350th Birth Anniversary of shivaji Maharaj, miss Swarnisha Narnawre threw a great deal of light on the heroic deeds of shivaji Maharaj. It was followed by the art of swording, self- defensive moves and Shivgarjana by Priyanka Sontakke from std XII. To mark occasion of farewell function, the students from std.X-  Sonakshi, Nirmit, Sawari, Prarthi, Samruddhi, Grishma, Vedanti, Arushi stayed their experiences in the school and expressed a greal deal of gratitude towards school and teachers. Smt. Y. Datke madam extended her best wishes to the students appearing for Board Exam.

                      In her address, Smt. Anju Jais emphasized on hardwork is a key to all kinds of success in the lives of students and rendered her best wishes to the students of Std X. In her presidential speech,Smt. M. Yawalkar madam, advocated the students to follow the acrostic- SMART in their lives to realise success in all spheres of their lives and extended her best wishes for the future of the students of std. X. The best two students from each class of std.X were felicitated with memento. The programme was hosted by the all the section of std. IX.

नागपुर शिक्षण मंडल द्वारा संचालित श्री दादासाहेब धनवटे नगर वि‌द्यालय व कनिष्ठ महाविद्‌यालय, महल में २० फरवरी को कक्षा 10वी के वि‌द्यार्थियों का बिदाई समारोह कार्यक्रम हर्षोल्लास से मनाया गया। सर्वप्रथम वि‌द्यालय की मुख्याध्यापिका माधुरी यावलकर ,अतिथि अंजू जैस तथा हायस्कूल प्रभारी कीर्ति बल्कि व रुपचंद कुवर ने दीप प्रज्ज्वलित कर शिवाजी महाराज की जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में शिवाजी महाराज की प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण किया। कक्षा e वीं की छात्रा कु स्वर्णिषा नारनवरे ने शिवाजी द्‌वारा किए गए साहसिक कार्यों पर अपने भाषण द्वारा प्रकाश डाला। तत्पश्चात 12 वी की छात्रा प्रियंका सोनटक्के ने शिव गर्जना व दांडपट्‌टे की कला का प्रदर्शन किया।विदाई समारोह के अवसर पर १० वीं के विद्‌यार्थियों  रंगारंग कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किए तथा शाला में बिताइ अपने पलों को अपने अनुभव के आधार पर सभी के समक्ष रखा । हायस्कूल प्रभारी कीर्ति बल्कि ने प्रमुख अतिथी का परिचय देकर १० वीं कक्षा के विद्‌यार्थियों को आने वाली परीक्षाओं की शुभकामनाएँ दी। अतिथि श्रीमती जैस तथा मुख्याध्यापिका श्रीमती यावलकर ने अपने भाषण में विद्‌यार्थियों के उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की ।१० वी कक्षा  के हर वर्ग में से उत्कृष्ट छात्र व छात्रा को स्मृति चिहून देकर देकर सम्मानित किया गया ।

प्रीति भोज के साथ ही विदाई समारोह का समापन हुआ ।   इस कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने के लिए विद्यार्थियों के साथ शिक्षक व शिक्षकेत्तर कर्मचारी वर्ग ने सहयोग दिया ।
